Hermanus - 2024-10-09

Cold wet drizzle all morning, winter weather all over again
Cleared later during the morning and a lot of whales close to the cliffs
Southern right whales from the cliffs of Hermanus

    I have a question though... The pic that one could imagine almost looks like it's of the whales eyes...(Pic no 7 on my device) Is it? Looks so unlikely, somehow! ❤️

    1. A blowhole is the hole (or spiracle) at the top of the head through which the animal breathes air. In baleen whales, these are in pairs.
