A Lookout from the Cliffs of Hermanus
From the cliffs of Hermanus, the ocean is never still. Each scan across Walker Bay reveals another moment in the wild world below — the graceful lift of a Southern Right whale’s tail, a curious head rising above the waves, and the powerful splash of a whale disappearing once more into the deep.
But the lookout extends beyond the ocean. Among the coastal grasses, a small bird pauses quietly, while on the sun-warmed rocks a lizard clings to its ancient home.
From the cliffs, Hermanus becomes a living theatre — where sea, sky and land meet, and every patient observer may witness a new story unfolding.
