From Gearings Point a couple of whales were around, some far, some close, some very close to shore

A couple of days went past without seeing any whales
Today made up for it as there were at least three groups visible
Some so close to the cliffs as can be
The whales are less each day and I presume it's time to say goodbye for this season
So, every sighting is a bonus
